Privacy Policy

Last updated September 30, 2026

This policy explains what IOFluxMedia collects when you use https://iofluxmedia.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. IOFluxMedia is an online tool for saving public TikTok, Instagram Reel, and X videos to your own device. We do not host a library of videos.

Who we are

IOFluxMedia ("we", "us") operates this website. For privacy requests, email privacy@iofluxmedia.com. If you are writing about copyright, use the contact on our DMCA page instead.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the downloader and keep the site reliable.

  • Video links you submit. The URL you paste is sent to our server so we can check that it is a public TikTok, Instagram, or X link and forward it for resolution.
  • Technical logs. Our host may record your IP address, browser type, device type, date and time, referring page, and the address of the page you requested. These are standard server logs.
  • Support messages. If you email us, we keep the message, your email address, and our reply so we can resolve the request.
  • Advertising data, once ad scripts are enabled. Our advertising partner may then collect device and browser data, coarse location derived from your IP address, and ad interactions. Those scripts are not active until we place them in the site template.

We do not ask for your name, your social-media password, your contacts, or the contents of your camera roll. We do not require an account.

Video files

IOFluxMedia does not store, host, or re-stream the video file. When you submit a link, our server forwards that URL to a media-resolution provider, accessed through RapidAPI, for one purpose: to receive a temporary stream address, a caption, and a cover thumbnail. That package is returned to your browser so you can save the file on your device. We do not write the media file to our disk, and we do not keep a public archive of submitted links.

You are responsible for having the rights or permission to save a video. Do not submit private, leaked, or otherwise unlawful material.

How we use information

  • To validate the link and return a download card.
  • To protect the service against abuse, automated scraping, and security incidents.
  • To measure rough reliability of the site, such as error rates, without building an advertising profile of our own.
  • To respond to privacy, support, and copyright messages.
  • To show advertisements that fund the free tool, once those scripts are installed, and to cap popunder frequency at one impression per IP address every 24 hours.
  • To comply with law and to establish or defend legal claims.

Legal bases

If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland, we rely on these bases:

  • Contract. Processing the URL you submit is necessary to provide the download you asked for.
  • Legitimate interests. Keeping security logs, preventing abuse, and understanding whether the service is working. You can object where the law gives you that right.
  • Consent. Non-essential advertising cookies, where required, are placed only after the advertising scripts are enabled and any required consent is collected.
  • Legal obligation. When we must retain or disclose information to comply with a lawful request.

Cookies and similar technologies

This version of IOFluxMedia does not set its own analytics cookies and does not run a first-party tracking pixel. The site can function without an account cookie.

When Adsterra advertising scripts are added, that partner may set cookies or use similar storage to deliver ads, limit how often a popunder appears, and measure whether an ad was shown. Those cookies are non-essential. You can block or delete them in your browser, and you can use a content blocker. Doing so may hide ads. It will not remove your ability to paste a link into the downloader.

Adsterra's own privacy information is published at adsterra.com.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information for money. We share data only with these categories of recipients:

  • Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes technical logs as our infrastructure provider. Their privacy policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Media resolution. The video URL you submit is sent to a RapidAPI media-extraction endpoint so a temporary file address can be returned. RapidAPI's site is rapidapi.com.
  • Advertising. Once enabled, Adsterra receives the technical data its scripts collect in the browser.
  • Professional advisers and authorities. When disclosure is required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the service and its users.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, advertising cookies can count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. Until those scripts are installed, we do not share personal information with advertisers. California residents can opt out by emailing privacy@iofluxmedia.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share". We will honor a valid request and we will not discriminate against you for making it.

How long we keep information

  • Video files: not retained. They are not written to our servers.
  • Submitted URLs in transient application memory: kept only for the length of the request.
  • Server logs: up to 30 days, unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse or to meet a legal duty.
  • Email correspondence: for as long as needed to resolve the thread, then deleted or archived according to the nature of the request. Copyright notices may be kept longer so we can enforce repeat-infringer limits.

International transfers

We and our providers may process information in the United States and in other countries where Vercel, RapidAPI, or Adsterra operate. Those countries may not provide the same data-protection rules as your home country. Where the law requires a transfer tool, we use the mechanism our provider makes available, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the United Kingdom, the EEA, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, and US states such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Receive a portable copy of information you provided.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising.
  • Appeal a refusal of a privacy request, where your state provides an appeal right.

Email privacy@iofluxmedia.com. We may need to verify that you control the email address or the browser session tied to the request. We aim to respond within 30 days, or sooner when the law sets a shorter deadline. You may also complain to your local authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office. In the EEA it is your national supervisory authority.

Authorized agents may submit a request for a California resident if they provide proof of authorization and we can verify the resident's identity.

Children

IOFluxMedia is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email privacy@iofluxmedia.com and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We do not operate a password database. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent over the internet.

Third-party sites

TikTok, Instagram, and X are separate services with their own terms and privacy policies. A link you paste points at their content. When you leave IOFluxMedia for an advertiser's page, that page's policy applies, not this one. We are not affiliated with TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram, Meta, X, or Twitter.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Continued use of the site after the new date means the updated policy applies to new activity.
